Marcel Willems has been a lawyer since 1989. After having worked as an associate for one of the larger Dutch firms, in 1991 he decided to start his own firm together with some friends. This firm is Kennedy Van der Laan, itself now one of the larger firms in the Netherlands.

Kennedy Van der Laan is the leading technology law firm and known for its innovative approach. Marcel is partner in the corporate area, specialized in banking & finance and corporate litigation. He has been involved in  eVentures Africa Fund as of its incorporation.

Heleen Dura-van Oord founded DQ&A in 2001 in the Netherlands. She is also a co-founder and partner of the investment company Peak Capital and co-founder of  the Leading Online Entrepreneur Awards as well as Online Tuesday, the leading event for the online industry of the Netherlands.

Heleen serves on the advisory board of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), and serves on the jury of the Accenture Innovation Awards.

Joachim Fleury has been associated with international law firm Clifford Chance since 1984 – and since 1992 as a partner. From 2000 onwards he heads the firm’s global practice focused on the telecoms, media and technology sectors. In this capacity Joachim lead the teams working on the acquisitions of Orange Netherlands and Tele.ring in Austria by T-Mobile, the investment in Canal Digitaal by Providence Equity Partners, the creation of Everything Everywhere as the biggest mobile operator in the UK, the acquisition of Endemol by a tripartite consortium and a range of transactions for Nokia, NTT docomo, Adobe, Teliasonera, Macquarie, CVC and others.

Arthur Kosten co-founded bookingsportal in 2001, one of the companies which later became booking.com.

Established in 1996, Booking.com is the world’s leading online hotel reservations agency, selling hotels in 170 countries around the world to both leisure and business markets. Arthur was Chief Marketing Officer of booking.com until early 2012.

Currently, Arthur is advisor to the booking.com executive team and investor in online businesses.
